Health and Safety
SEKAB has a broad, comprehensive health and safety programme. This is particularly important in an industrial chemical operation where large quantities of flammable, corrosive and hazardous substances are handled. Health and safety are always of the highest priority at SEKAB and we work systematically to prevent various occupational hazards. SEKAB has a safety organisation that works actively on health and safety-related issues, ensuring continued improvement in this area. SEKAB continually trains and informs employees and encourages them to become involved in and take responsibility for health and safety issues. SEKAB also collaborates and communicates with external groups in the field.
Preventative measures
SEKAB works proactively to improve dangerous work environments and to identify and address work-related injuries and illness. Our goal is to design a workplace and operational processes in such a way that the degree of risk to personnel, environmental impact, the number of hazardous work duties, and the risk of fire and explosion are kept to a minimum.
Our facilities and industrial site are well protected and regular safety checks are carried out in accordance with both internal standards and those of relevant authorities. SEKAB continually strives to maintain an effective accident response plan and cooperates actively with local emergency services.
