Personal privacy is important to Sekab, and you must feel safe with respect to how your personal data is processed by us. Our aim is therefore to always strive towards a high level of protection of your personal data.

Sometimes additional information can be processed but only when it can be considered that you yourself have published such information for example, about various events.
The gathering of your personal information takes place, for example, when you contact us with regard to various issues or register to receive newsletters, participate in seminars and other events. Data can also be collected about you as an employee when the company at which you work purchases our products or when it is already a customer of ours.

In order to be able to provide you our customer with personal and swift service we require to register and administer your personal information. We can also use this information for contracting and invoicing.
When you visit any of our websites, we can automatically retrieve information about your visits and your use of them. We sometimes link from our websites to other third party sites that have their own privacy rules for which we cannot be held responsible.
We need the right information about you and your company when you buy a product from us. This is for identification purposes and in order to be able to send an acknowledgement and to enable the safe delivery and invoicing of the product.
We want to be able to inform you about what we or our partners can provide, what is happening at present or to invite you to our events. This can be done by means of, for example, newsletters to your e-mail. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time.
We sometimes conduct surveys to find out what you think of us, this is mainly done by e-mail.
If you send e-mails or information to us in any other way, that information will be processes by us. We move important or sensitive data to other systems and regularly erase items from our email archives.
If you visit us, you will find that our industrial area is subject to camera surveillance. Camera surveillance takes place for security reasons and here we refer to the balancing of interests on a legal base in accordance with the Swedish Video Surveillance Act (2018: 1200).
We will save your information as long as it is required to fulfil the above purposes or as long as we are required by law to do so. The length of storage time can differ dependent on the purpose of the processing and how long the information is necessary for the specific purpose. Thereafter, we will securely erase or de-identify your information so that it can no longer be linked to you.
The information you provide Sekab with can be shared within the company and with partners in order to fulfil the above-mentioned purposes or in connection with statutory requirements, legal investigations or court decisions. In some situations, it is also necessary for us to share personal information with third parties and in such cases data processor agreements are drawn up.
We will never forward, sell or make changes to your personal information for marketing purposes to third parties outside Sekab.
Sekab has taken the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect your information from loss, manipulation and unauthorised access. Furthermore, we continuously adapt our safety measures in accordance with developments and progress in the technical field.
You can request a copy of the information we have about you free of charge, you can also verify the information we have about you and receive a reply within 30 days.
You have the right to have incorrect or incomplete information about yourself modified/rectified.
If you no longer want us to save your information, you have the right to have your information erased, provided that it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was processed. There may, however, be legal obligations such as the Bookkeeping Act, which can mean that we cannot immediately erase parts of your data. In such cases we will only save the data we are required to save according to the law. If the processing is based on consent and this is withdrawn, your information will be erased.
You have the right to demand that the processing is restricted if any of the following apply:
You have the right to object to processing if the legal base for your processing is the balance of interests or general interest.

The Swedish Data Protection Authority is the supervisory authority in Sweden that monitors and ensures that those who process personal data comply with the Data Protection Ordinance. If you believe that Sekab is processing your personal data in violation of the Data Protection Ordinance, you have the right to file a complaint with the Swedish Data Protection Authority.
