Sekab has published its annual and sustainability report for 2025. The report summarizes a year marked by a challenging market, continued development and several important steps forward.

During the year, Sekab gained increased international visibility through participation at COP30 as part of Sweden’s official business delegation. Sekab was also once again named one of the Europe’s Climate Leaders by the Financial Times, received EcoVadis Gold and won Sweden’s Environmental Strategy Award 2025.

The report also highlights Sekab’s long-term development as an industrial company. In 2025, Sekab marked 40 years in business, with roots in more than a century of chemical production in Örnsköldsvik.

Another important step during the year was Sekab joining BioGlue Centre, a national research center focused on next-generation bio-based materials. This strengthens Sekab’s role in the development of future fossil-free chemistry and broadens the opportunities for new applications and collaborations.

The report also describes Sekab’s continued work in sustainability, innovation and business development, as well as the company’s role in the transition to a more fossil-free chemical industry.
