Sekab can help you meet your sustainability targets by offering bio-based chemicals for your processes. Our chemicals are identical and have the same quality as the fossil-based alternatives but are produced from bio-based raw materials in a process run on green bioenergy and can significantly reduce your environmental footprint.
Ethyl acetate from Sekab is produced from bio-based ethanol with renewable bioenergy in a closed-loop system and with as little toxicological effects as possible.
We are proud to be able to offer our finest sustainability labelled Ethyl Acetate Pure which gives you a fully certified product guaranteed to be 100% physical bio-based.
An option might be Ethyl Acetate Prime, which is bio-based and certified but without the guarantee for 100% physical bio. This means the product is sustainability certified according to the mass balance approach.
As a bio-based but un-certified option, we can offer Ethyl Acetate Basic.
Sekab’s ethyl acetate is sustainability certified according to the certification body ISCC – International Sustainability & Carbon Certification. This guarantees that the chemical is produced from renewable bioethanol, using renewable energy in a circular process with advanced bio purification.
