Our production facility is part of High Coast Innovation Park, where chemical production has taken place for more than a century. Here, we combine extensive industrial experience with modern production, resource-efficient processes and high standards of quality and supply reliability.
Bioethanol is the raw material used in our chemical production. Through catalytic processes, the ethanol is refined into acetaldehyde, ethyl acetate and acetic acid. The processes are integrated so that materials and energy can be recovered and reused in production. The plant operates around the clock.
Process gases are treated in a closed system where organic compounds are captured. Energy from the residual gases is recovered and used to produce steam that is fed back into the production process.
The choice of raw materials, energy use and how resources are utilized in production all affect the carbon footprint of our products. We therefore continuously work to improve process efficiency and reduce the climate impact of our production. Our product carbon footprints are calculated according to ISO 14067 and externally verified.
