Sekab’s washer fluid is made from biological ethanol, a substance that is rapidly broken down in the natural environment, which also makes it an environmentally friendly choice. We do not add any odorants to our washer fluid for the simple reason that we think it is unnecessary and most odorants on the market are allergenic. Overall, it can be said that our washer fluid suits the really demanding and environmentally conscious customer and driver.
The impact on our climate and the environment is one of the most important issues of our time, but still thousands of tons of unpurified washer fluid end up in the natural environment every year. That is why we do what we do – why we make products that are as environmentally friendly as possible and have minimal impact on our climate. And that is why the chain from production to delivery is also important, our washer fluid is therefore only sold in concentrated form without water added.
Sekab’s washer fluid has excellent cleaning properties and effectively dissolves dirt, road salt and traffic film on windshields and headlights. At the same time it is also gentle on the car’s paintwork, wiper blades, moldings and plastic parts. The highly concentrated bioethanol has antifreeze properties which prevent the washer fluid from freezing in the car’s climate system and on the windshield. Naturally, we also meet the Swedish Public Health Authority’s requirements for washer fluids, with denaturations adapted to this product type.
In addition to our standard product, Sekab also supplies washer fluid, which is entirely made from second-generation cellulosic ethanol produced from residual products. This provides a product with very good climate and environmental properties, and in which emissions of fossil carbon dioxide are minimised.
